The Queen of Healthy Hair Definitely Gets it Right: A Product Review

December 30, 2020 by Donna

Honestly, I didn’t even know what I was seeking in a product line for my hair. It became apparent early on in my journey that my hair needed moisture more than anything else. One of the biggest mistakes I made was that I kept riding the bandwagon of purchasing products geared towards enhancing a curl pattern that literally doesn’t exist. Now that I know what my hair needs, I’m super excited that there is an all natural haircare line for me. I am looking forward to trying all the products in their hair care line.

No Additives, No Preservatives...Just RAW LOVE!

December 01, 2020 by Donna

People spend seasons, lifetimes, years, etc seeking “raw love”, and I literally eat, sleep, and breathe it daily. Showing love to myself and others comes effortlessly because of this., and it shows up in the friendships and relationships that I share with incredible individuals. Much of what I’m called to do is helping people experience the type of raw love that they may be seeking externally within themselves because I believe that practicing self-love is at the height of feeling raw love!

So, this year, we find ourselves in the midst of a Pandemic with the same desire to have an EXTRAordinary 12 year Anniversary celebration. A Kentucky Derby Inspired Visit to Millstone Riding Club

September 01, 2020 by Donna

Reading a book or watching a documentary are certainly ordinary ways to gain information. If you’re new here, you figure out quickly that I seek out the EXTRAordinary! This energy attracts opportunities for living and learning in just that way. This time around, a Pre-Kentucky virtual fundraiser by Shawanda Vickers of Shoo Cosmetics was the inspiration for learning Kentucky Derby history through oral history while having the pleasure of interviewing Anne Butler and having a photoshoot on the pristine and rustic grounds of The Millstone Riding Club (MRC) in Allentown, NJ.

Urban Oasis In The Heart of Brooklyn

July 13, 2020 by Donna

“Fortunately for me, my ground floor apartment in a Brooklyn Brownstone has a private backyard, so I have ample outdoor space. And over time I’ve been able to make it uniquely mine, carving out distinct spaces designed to fulfill my vision for an urban oasis: an outdoor dining area, a lounge area and a vegetable & herb garden, all surrounded by vibrantly green plants.”

Mother: A Fancy Term for Doin' What You Gotta Do

May 12, 2020 by Donna

That’s not my truth. Instead of positive, happy feelings, for nine months I felt fear, sadness, stress and at times hopelessness. Based on my relationship at the time, I could see clearly where this was headed; straight to single motherhood.
